An identity in digital format
1 A dematerialized document
The e-CPS is an electronic professional identity dedicated to all professional players in the health and medico-social sectors. It contains the identification data of its holder.
The e-CPS offers healthcare professionals the possibility of authenticating themselves directly to an online service using their mobile or tablet, without going through a workstation configured and equipped with a card reader. It thus responds to the challenges of mobile authentication of healthcare professionals.
2 e-CPS service
By creating their digital identity, healthcare professionals can access various services integrating the authentication solution based on Pro Santé Connect.
Combined with the e-CPS, the Pro Santé Connect project, led by the Agence du Numérique en Santé (ANS) on behalf of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health, gives healthcare professionals access to a fully paperless identification solution.
A service backed by Pro Santé Connect
Pro Santé Connect provides authentication rather than digital health services and relieves those concerned of having to manage this.
The data used are taken from the national reference directory.
A scalable and flexible solution
The simplicity and flexibility of Pro Santé Connect make it possible to bring any changes if necessary (functional, regulatory, technological) that can be deployed instantly country-wide, without impacting the operation of connected digital services.
- Security level equivalent to that of the physical card
This flexibility has made it possible especially to use the Pro Santé Connect authentication solution in the implementation of services dedicated to health professionals in the management of the health crisis.
The Pro Santé Connect solution, coupled with the e-CPS, makes it possible to:
Free digital health services from authentication management
Benefit from the same level of security as the CPS card
Have a dematerialized solution, especially for professionals in mobility
